Israel’s Actions Meet The Legal definition Of Genocide – UN Genocide Scholars

PulseTawk

Genocide scholars from the International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) declare that Israel commits genocide in Gaza. In a resolution passed with overwhelming support, the IAGS states that Israel’s policies and actions fulfill the legal criteria outlined in the 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. This determination draws on extensive evidence, including attacks on healthcare, civilian infrastructure, and deliberate restrictions on aid, which experts link directly to genocidal intent.

GAZA

While some critics, such as the American Jewish Committee, argue that Israel’s operations target Hamas militants rather than Palestinians as a group and do not meet the intent threshold, the IAGS and other scholars counter that the scale of destruction and official statements from Israeli leaders demonstrate otherwise. Which Hamas are they talking about because we have seen that they are cleansing the population  WHAT IS BIZZARE IS THE TOTAL  SILENT IN THE WORLD… This is insane colonisation by the zionist / Europeans settlers.. The pain and autocracies brought to this people is this what we want ? Humanity ?. BARBARISM IT ITS

The Genocide Convention defines genocide as acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group. Scholars apply this definition to Gaza by examining five specific acts prohibited under Article II. Israel perpetrates each of these acts against Palestinians, according to reports from Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, which document systematic harm. Opponents, including legal expert Alan Dershowitz, claim these actions stem from self-defense against Hamas and lack genocidal intent, pointing to Israel’s warnings to civilians and aid deliveries as evidence. However, scholars refute this by highlighting the disproportionate impact on civilians and the blockade’s role in exacerbating suffering.

The Five Prohibited Acts and Israel’s Violations

Scholars identify the following acts, each committed by Israel in Gaza:

Israel kills members of the Palestinian group. Israeli forces conduct airstrikes and ground operations that kill thousands of Palestinians, including over 40,000 civilians since October 2023, many of them children and women. The IAGS cites targeted attacks on hospitals and schools as deliberate killings. Critics argue that Hamas embeds fighters in civilian areas, making such casualties inevitable in urban warfare, not intentional genocide.
To verify this act: Count reported deaths from UN sources and cross-reference with Israeli military statements. Subtract claimed militant casualties; the remainder shows civilian targeting exceeds self-defense claims. THIS MEANS THIS ISN’T TRUE

Israel causes serious bodily or mental harm to Palestinians. Israeli bombardments inflict widespread injuries, including amputations and trauma, while restricting medical supplies worsens outcomes. Scholars point to psychological harm from constant fear and displacement affecting millions. Defenders, like those from the ADL, assert that harm results from Hamas’s use of human shields, not Israeli policy.
To assess: Review medical reports from Gaza hospitals. Calculate injury rates per capita and compare to other conflicts; Gaza’s figures indicate intentional escalation. THIS IS A MUST WHEN YOU LOOKING TO TAKE THE LAND .WELL EUROPE LAUGHS THROUGH I MEAN THEY CARE LESS ABOUT ARABS AND CHRISTIANS

Israel deliberately inflicts conditions of life calculated to destroy Palestinians physically. Israel blocks food, water, and fuel, leading to famine and disease outbreaks in Gaza. The UN reports starvation as a weapon, with children dying from malnutrition. Israeli officials counter that aid enters Gaza and blame Hamas for diversion, insisting restrictions prevent arms smuggling.

GAZA RUINS

To evaluate: Track aid truck entries via UN data. Divide total aid by population needs; shortfalls reveal calculated deprivation.

Israel imposes measures to prevent births within the Palestinian group. Attacks on maternity wards and healthcare collapse hinder births, while malnutrition causes miscarriages and infant mortality. Experts cite this as indirect but intentional suppression. Skeptics argue no explicit policy targets reproduction, attributing issues to war’s chaos.
To confirm: Analyze birth rate drops from pre-conflict levels using WHO statistics. Correlate with infrastructure destruction; patterns show targeted impact. WE HAVE SEEN THE ISRAEL GOVERNMENT SWITCH OFF INCUBATORS

Israel forcibly transfers Palestinian children to another group. Displacement evacuations and family separations during raids scatter children, with some reports of adoptions outside Gaza. Scholars view this as cultural erasure. Pro-Israel sources deny systematic transfers, framing evacuations as protective measures.
To substantiate: Document child displacement via UNICEF reports. Trace family reunifications; failures indicate forced separation.

Intent underpins these acts, as Israeli leaders’ statements like calling Palestinians “human animals”, reveal genocidal motive. Critics dismiss these as rhetoric, not policy.

The UN’s Mandate to Prevent Genocide and Failures by the USA and Israel

The Genocide Convention obliges states to prevent genocide. Article I requires parties, including the USA and Israel, to act against emerging threats. The UN urges prevention through diplomacy, sanctions, and intervention.  USA supplies Israel with over $22 billion in military aid since 2023, enabling operations in Gaza. Israel, as a signatory, ignores its duty by continuing the assault rather than halting it. Defenders argue the USA supports Israel’s right to self-defense, not genocide.

Scholars demand action: States must cease trade with Israel to fulfill prevention obligations. The USA exports $17.3 billion in goods to Israel annually, sustaining its economy amid the conflict. Boycotts pressure perpetrators, as history shows with apartheid South Africa. Nations trade with Israel at their peril, complicit in genocide. Some stakeholders, like pro-Israel lobbies, view trade as vital alliance-building, not endorsement of actions.
